The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center today awarded a $2 million grant to help launch a joint Center for Personalized Cancer Therapy on the University of Massachusetts Boston campus.
That center is a joint project involving UMass Boston and the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center, and it’s intended to develop reliable and cost-effective tests to determine different sub-types of all common cancers, and to commercialize antibody-based assays that will distinguish different subtypes of human cancer.
